Chocolate....

With Valentine's Day close at hand, I thought I'd post a photo of a display case full of yummy chocolates from the best chocolate shoppe in North Carolina.  The Chocolate Fetish is on Haywood Street in downtown Asheville (not far from the Civic Center parking garage).

The Chocolate Fetish offer a  variety of truffles including American-style and European-style. European-style truffles have a ganache-like filling and a thin outer shell.  The American-style truffles have a thicker shell and contain a dense filling.  My favorite are the European-style truffles including the Mocha Magic, Hazelnut, and, when in season, Eggnog.

They have fabulous milk chocolate sea salt caramels which are my favorite item in the store.  The owners are the nicest people you will meet.  The Chocolate Fetish may be located in a small mountain town but they ship nationwide.   Call them for delivery to yourself or your sweetheart for Valentines Day or for any occasion.

My family are hooked on these chocolates.  I often take gifts of chocolates to my cat's cardiologist and his regular vet as a thank you for the great medical care of my special boy.  There is something for everyone at the Chocolate Fetish.

Welcome

The Western North Carolina area is amazing.  There are a lot of small towns that have festivals and events throughout the year.  And don't forget the natural beauty of Pisgah National Forest, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Valley and DuPont Forest.

My schedule is quite hectic thus the frequency of posts may be somewhat erratic.  My initial posts will be some iPhone photos that I have captured in the past.

I hope you enjoy them and love and appreciate this area as much as I do.
